Energy experts pledge to support the next generation of skilled body repairers thanks to a new Bronze Partner deal with AutoRaise.
AutoRaise – the vehicle repair industry charity – is delighted to welcome one of the UK’s leading energy cost and conservation consultancies, Energy Cost Advisors (ECA), as a Partner.
The new partnership with AutoRaise will help support the vital work the charity carries out on behalf of the body repair sector – an industry ECA has also been keenly supportive – saving bodyshops money with energy contract deals.
Energy Cost Advisors (ECA) are an independent energy consultancy specialising in energy procurement and energy management for over 30 years.
“We are delighted to announce we have become proud partners of AutoRaise,” said Steve Silverwood, Managing Director, ECA Group. “We look forward to working with Bob for many years to come in helping AutoRaise tackle the skill shortage issue within the industry.
“We started working in the Bodyshop sector almost 10 years ago and in that time have saved over £2million for more than 250 bodyshops and became the ABP Club approved energy partner 12 months ago.
“During that time we have worked very closely with our clients and have seen the issues in the industry with the skills shortage and strongly support the vision of AutoRaise in tackling this issue,” said Steve.
“We are truly delighted to welcome ECA Group as a key partner to the AutoRaise charity,” said Bob Linwood, Chief Executive Officer, AutoRaise. “They have demonstrated their desire to be part of what we are doing and have showed vision and commitment to work with us.
“I am very excited about this next step in our evolution and ECA’s contribution to our key strategy of working together with forward-thinking suppliers for the common good of addressing the industry’s shortage of young talent.”
It’s essential that the industry gets behind addressing the skills shortage, whether it be taking on new apprentices, hosting Industry Showcase Events or simply helping to spread the word.
