Gold partner alert! AutoRaise secures esure’s support

Leading 5* UK direct motor insurer, esure, has pledged to support the next generation of skilled body repairers thanks to a new Gold Partner deal with AutoRaise.

AutoRaise – the vehicle repair industry charity – is delighted to welcome leading motor insurer, esure, as a Gold Partner.

The new partnership with AutoRaise will help secure future repair capacity for esure’s 103- approved repair sites, serving 1.6 million motor UK policyholders.

Graham Roberts, Head of Motor Customer Claims, esure, said: “We are delighted to be working with AutoRaise not only have we experienced the commitment and passion Bob and the team have to the development of young people, but their ability to attract talented individuals into the repair industry has been inspirational. We are proud to be supporting AR and our repair network to help develop the future of the repair industry through the next generation of skilled technicians.”

This forward-thinking approach is at the heart of esure’s business ethos. The esure Group is an efficient, customer focused personal lines insurer, founded in 2000 by Chairman, Peter Wood, Britain’s foremost general insurance entrepreneur. The Group is one of the UK’s leading providers of motor and home insurance products through the esure and Sheilas’ Wheels brands.

The esure team has already played a vital role in AutoRaise’s fantastic 2017; supporting the charity’s Industry Showcase Events including Motofix and Gemini by providing the Sheila’s Wheels vehicle (a 1957 Ford Mercury Monterey Convertible) from their recent advertising campaign.

“We are truly delighted to welcome esure as a key partner to the AutoRaise charity,” said Bob Linwood, Chief Executive Officer, AutoRaise. “Our first ever business plan included our aim to engage with all major insurance companies and esure have demonstrated their desire to be part of what we are doing since the very first AutoRaise Showcase Event at Rye Street Group.

“They have showed vision and commitment to work with us and I am very excited about this next step in our evolution and esure’s contribution to our key strategy of working with the industry’s leading players,” said Bob. “We hope to encourage many other major insurers to enter into dialogue with us over the coming weeks and months and come together for the common good of addressing the industry’s shortage of young talent.”

It’s essential that the industry gets behind addressing the skills shortage, whether it be taking on new apprentices, hosting Industry Showcase Events or simply helping to spread the word.
