Gemini Accident Repair Centres Drives Skills Training with Major Vehicle Donation to EMTEC College

We’re thrilled to announce that Gemini Accident Repair Centres has donated 15 rally vehicles from previous AutoRaise charity rallies to EMTEC College in Nottingham. These vehicles, once part of our charity events, are now set to become invaluable training resources, giving students hands-on experience in essential repair skills, including vehicle stripping, mechanical work, panel beating, and paint training.

This generous donation is part of Gemini’s ongoing commitment to nurturing the next generation of skilled professionals in the vehicle repair industry. By placing these vehicles in the hands of students, Gemini aims to enhance practical learning and prepare young people for successful careers in repair and restoration.

Dave Sargeant, Managing Director of Gemini and Chairman of AutoRaise, expressed his enthusiasm for the donation:

“I am delighted to see these vehicles going to such a deserving partner. EMTEC College will undoubtedly benefit from the practical training opportunities these cars provide. There are currently no plans for an AutoRaise rally, so the fact the vehicles will remain in the industry, supporting apprenticeships and addressing the skills shortage, is great. It’s essential for the industry to continue backing apprenticeship programmes, and I’m proud that Gemini is leading by example. I hope this donation inspires other organisations to contribute in similar ways.”

The AutoRaise charity rally has long been a significant fundraiser for our mission of promoting apprenticeships and closing the skills gap in the Accident Repair sector. Thanks to Gemini, the spirit of the rally lives on – now, directly benefiting the industry’s future workforce.

We’re excited to see how EMTEC College students use this opportunity to build their skills and careers, and we’re grateful to Gemini for setting such a strong example in supporting apprenticeships.
