We are delighted to announce that Emma Speed has joined Auto Raise as our new Managing Director. With her deep passion for education and apprenticeships, along with a robust background in working closely with employers to enhance opportunities for young people and increase skills, Emma is ready to lead our mission forward.
Emma shares, “I’m thrilled to step into the role of Managing Director at Auto Raise Charity. It’s a fantastic organisation with a mission I’m deeply passionate about. I look forward to working closely with the Trustees to tackle the skills gaps in our sector. By focusing on training and development, we can create more opportunities for young people and build a stronger future for the industry together. It’s an exciting journey ahead, and I can’t wait to get started and make a real difference!”
Before joining us, Emma began her career as a journalist for ITN and the BBC, bringing a unique perspective to our communication and outreach strategies. Outside of her professional life, Emma is an avid beekeeper and has established a community apiary in her hometown, demonstrating her commitment to community engagement.
Please join us in welcoming Emma to the Auto Raise family. We are excited to see where her leadership will take us as we continue to strive for excellence in developing the next generation of talent in the vehicle repair industry.
