Baldwins Repair Group is holding an apprentice showcase event on Saturday 9th June, to recruit two individuals passionate about vehicles and the motor industry, into the position of Multi-Skilled Vehicle Accident Repair Apprentice.
The award-winning accident repairer is working in partnership with industry charity, AutoRaise, to bridge the skills gap that the industry is currently facing; and invest time and effort in the future employability of young people.
Showcase attendees will have the opportunity to find out what the apprenticeship involves, meet the Baldwins team, past apprentices and partners; and see some great demonstrations. They will also be able to enter competitions and try their hand at using a spray paint gun, rubbing down filler, stripping and refitting a bumper, plus much more!
Peter Randhawa, Group General Manager at Baldwins Repair Group says: “We are true advocates of apprenticeships and we are committed to offering young people great opportunities within the vehicle repair industry.
“We realise the accident repair industry needs new blood and we’re committed to attracting enthusiastic individuals with new ideas, the passion to learn and the desire to succeed into the industry.
“As new technologies are continually coming into play and vehicles are transforming rapidly; it really is an exciting and interesting time to be part of the accident repair industry.”
