AutoRaise competition for a video presenter... DEADLINE EXTENDED: entries in by 5pm Friday 2nd March, please!
AutoRaise have had a brilliant response to the CALLING ALL APPRENTICE STARS announcement but (thanks to half term) have extended the deadline for video entries in the search for a star presenter.
The “A day in the life of an Apprentice” production will share with the world what it’s like to be an Apprentice – to appeal to potential Apprentices.
Ideally, we’re looking for a current Vehicle Repair Industry Apprentice (or recently graduated Apprentice). What’s essential is a passion for the bodyshop business they can convey to the viewers.
To enter, we need them to record and submit a short video (max 5 minutes) on their smartphone. There’s no script, what they say and do in their video entry is completely up to them, but here are some suggestions to get you thinking…
The best thing about being an Apprentice is…
- Take us for a tour of your bodyshop
- Give your top tips for making the most of a vehicle repair Apprenticeship
- Show us your skills… take before and after video of jobs you’re proud of
- Introduce us to your team! Who does what in the bodyshop?
- Meet my boss! Record a quick Q&A with your bodyshop manager/mentor/business owner
We’re looking for someone who’s creative, enthusiastic and energetic. They could be chosen as the presenter of the AutoRaise “A day in the life of an Apprentice” film!
If they are successful and picked to present the final film, YOUR Apprentice will get in front of young people and their parents, schools and colleges, bodyshops AND industry media to help AutoRaise spread the word about OUR fun, rewarding, challenging and exciting sector.
Get in touch for more information by emailing Kelly.
The deadline for entries is 5pm Friday 2nd March.
It’s essential that the industry gets behind addressing the skills shortage, whether it be taking on new apprentices, hosting Industry Showcase Events or simply helping to spread the word.
