AutoRaise growth creates the most exciting role in the repair industry, the search is on for a ‘General Manager’!

AutoRaise – the dedicated Charity set up solely to help the UK vehicle body repair industry attract young people into a range of technical apprenticeships – has launched a recruitment campaign for a General Manager. The successful candidate for this high-level role will accelerate the progress made by the Charity, which includes direct involvement of over 600 Apprenticeship starts in the last 12 months, 182 Affiliated Repairer sites, 18 Stakeholder Partners already secured to date and management of over £1m of levy pot transfers.

The General Manager will develop strategies that deliver against the Charity’s purpose, promote goals and achievements to stakeholders and the broader industry, and drive fundraising initiatives to ensure sustainability of the charity.

“Recruitment for a General Manager signals a new, dynamic era for AutoRaise,” said Steve Thompson, AutoRaise Vice Chairman.

“They will be empowered to get the job done,” said Steve, “and be encouraged to be innovative to deliver a strong vision, ambition, and positive culture for the charity.

“The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a diverse and collaborative culture with a board of Trustees and charity volunteers with a passion for what the charity does.”

AutoRaise works together with repairers, training providers, work providers and the industry supply chain to present the vehicle repair industry to young people at schools and colleges as a rewarding and lucrative alternative to other employment opportunities, further education, or university.

AutoRaise promotes a range of technical apprenticeship paths to bring new blood into the industry today, ensuring the qualified talent of tomorrow.
The successful candidate will enjoy working with a wide variety of people and be effective at building strong relationships.
